Hello, my name is Caroline. Let me first start out by telling you I don't like to photograph myself often, so the best recent photograph I could find included a couple of taxidermy zebras (two things I am fond of) at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. I'd rather be photographing an update of a piece of art I'm working on, or a new recipe I tried out, or just my environment in general. I dwell in that weird state of young adulthood after completing undergraduate
school-a liberal arts college, deciding on graduate school and working a full-time job that
isn't a true reflection of the real me. Keeping up with real-world bills and all those little surprises, paying school loans, and just trying to stay creative
outside of a real studio (or large workspace).
I struggle to keep creating work while keeping steady sketchbooks of notes, inspiration, concepts, and workings of pieces. I want to continue to create and grow with my artwork throughout my life and continue to exhibit and share it as I go along.
This blog is a means of presenting stages and updates from both an artistic and culinary perspective-two parts of my life that I truly enjoy. Both drawing and cooking, searching for recipes and searching for inspiration in past art could occupy my time to days. I love to share my personal updates with my own artwork as well as recipes I stumble upon-all in the love of inspiration.

The crazy flowers are are nice, I think I may like the relaxed sketches as much as your formal creations.
